To make the process as efficient and affordable as possible for our clients, we have developed a highly systematic approach to creating our products (even though the final results are always still extremely personalized and unique). Please Contact Us for more information about our approach, or if you are ready to get started!
Pre-Production
As soon as a client places a formal order for our services, we will begin the pre-production process by reviewing the terms and details of your particular package with you.
Next, we will leverage our expertise and work with you to create a general outline of the topics and stories that you would like to cover in your video. This helps make sure that we can keep the actual filming sessions highly focused and productive, and also that the content of the final product is not a major surprise. This helps keep the costs associated with filming as well as editing to a minimum, so we cannot stress the importance of this pre-production process enough.
During this pre-production period, the client will be responsible for gathering and selecting any photos that will be included in the final DVD and possible slideshows (see packages for more details). We will never take physical possession of these irreplaceable items, so we request that JPEGs be provided by the client. If this is not possible, we can scan the photos on site (although they must be under 8.5" x 11").
Filming & Post Production
Once we have collected all of the preliminary information from the client, we will schedule a time and location for the filming session. The length of these sessions will depend upon the client's package, but we never film for more than 4 hours in a single day (just to make sure that the star of the interview doesn't start getting visibly tired on camera).
After the filming is completed, we will take the footage and work our magic to edit everything into a compelling format. This includes inserting any photos that have been provided, adding music (depending on the package), as well as organizing the actual content and flow of topics. When the editing is completed, we will prepare the final DVDs for delivery to the client, and the process will be concluded.
